Kashkadarya

Kashkadarya region is the first region to be established within Uzbekistan. It is located in the southwest of the republic, in the Kashkadarya basin, on the western edge of the Pamir-Alay mountain range, between the Amu Darya and Zarafshan rivers, and the mountains of the Hissar and Zarafshan ranges.
